History of Glass

Natural and manufactured glass, described as a super-cooled liquid, seem to be among the most common materials in everyday usage even into the 21st Century. This historical review seeks to re-establish it as one of the most amazing substances we all but ignore in our everyday lives.



These ancient unguentaria of clunky clay and sheerest glass were used to hold medicines or a lady's lotions and potions.
